Privacy Policy
TotalSportek (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a free football live scores, fixtures, and standings app. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the TotalSportek Android app (package com.totalsportek.com) available on Google Play.
01Scope
TotalSportek does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use the app. Most of what the app handles — your favorite teams, matches, and app settings — stays on your device.
02Information we collect
We’ve grouped what the app handles into three categories, based on where it goes:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or payment information, and we do not require sign-in.
03How we use it
- To show live football data — fixtures, live scores, standings, lineups, head-to-head history, and broadcast listings, fetched from our data provider as you browse.
- To remember your preferences — your favorited teams and matches and your chosen app theme, kept on your device so they persist between sessions.
- To alert you about matches you follow — kickoff, goals, half-time, and full-time notifications for your favorited fixtures.
- To support the free app with ads — TotalSportek is free to use and funded by ads served through Google AdMob.
04Notifications
Match alerts (kickoff, goals, half-time, full-time) are generated on your device by periodically checking scores for your favorited matches in the background — they are not sent from a remote push server, and no notification content is transmitted off your device. Background checks only run for matches you’ve explicitly favorited.
05Storage & retention
Your favorites, preferences, and cached scores are stored locally in the app’s on-device storage. We do not maintain user profiles or a backend database of your activity. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your device settings, permanently deletes this data.
06Third-party services
TotalSportek relies on the following third-party services to function. Each handles data under its own privacy policy, linked below:
Data API-Sports (api-football.com) — provides the live football data (fixtures, scores, standings, lineups, statistics, broadcasts) shown in the app. Requests include only the match, team, or league identifiers needed to fetch that data.
Ads Google AdMob — serves the ads that keep TotalSportek free. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID), approximate location, and usage data to serve and measure ads, and may use this data for personalized advertising unless you opt out (see Your choices). 07Children’s privacy
TotalSportek is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
08Your choices
- Notifications — disable them anytime in your device’s Settings → Apps → TotalSportek → Notifications, or by removing matches from your favorites.
- Ad personalization — opt out or reset your advertising ID in your device’s Settings → Privacy → Ads (Android) or Google’s Ad Settings.
- Deleting your data — since favorites and preferences live only on your device, uninstalling the app or clearing its app storage removes them completely.
09Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information the app handles. Because your favorites and preferences are stored locally rather than on a central server, there is no user account database of app data for us to secure or that could be breached.
10International users
TotalSportek is available globally. Our third-party providers (API-Sports and Google AdMob) may process data in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
